Mission

Hi there! I am a professional pianist in Orange County who has been playing piano since I was 7 y/o. Having spent thousands of hours on this instrument, it is a pleasure for me to share my value, knowledge, and experience with music with you.

For my wedding clients, I am thrilled for us to work together on creating the perfect piano soundtrack for your special day. I aim to make your wedding as stress-free as possible so you can enjoy every moment. Mostly, I am grateful for your consideration and trust to provide a music performance that commemorates this new chapter as one of the most significant milestones in your lives.

For my current and prospective students, I aim to instill a beautiful passion for music that you can share with friends and family. I take pride in tailoring fun, personalized, and interactive lessons to ensure steady progress. Under my guidance, you can expect to build a strong foundation in learning to read notes and applying music theory concepts to becoming a confident musician.

Lawrence’s main grand piano (Yamaha C2)

Background

Lawrence Maddela grew up in Bakersfield, CA taking private 1-on-1 piano lessons until high school. He discovered his musical talents early on in life, serving as the pianist of his Church for 4 years and developing a skillset in audio engineering hip-hop/rap music. Lawrence also excelled academically in the life sciences, as he proceeded to major in Psychobiology at UCLA and completed his master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs at Keck Graduate Institute in Claremont. When Lawrence is not working full-time in the medical device industry, he is focusing on his passion for teaching and playing piano.

To further strengthen his piano pedagogy, Lawrence was mentored under a concert pianist from the Juilliard School while obtaining his teaching certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). The classically trained pianist works closely with his own students, but also teaches at the Irvine School of Music and Tustin Music Center. Since the COVID-19 global pandemic, he has built a gamut of nearly 20 students and is committed to providing the best learning experience for all aspiring musicians.

Future Aspirations

As of 2024, Lawrence has taken strides to expand his piano side-business and widen his skillset by adding more jazz ballades to his repertoire. His first wedding gig was in San Juan Capistrano, CA at the end of last year which was a hit.

For those reading this until the very end, I thank you and hope to inspire you with the skills I’ve polished throughout my years of playing.
